Japanese auto majors reduce focus on US

The US automobile market was the key focus market for every Japanese auto major till two years back, but the crashing sales in US coupled with strengthening US dollar is making every company rethink their US strategy.
Nissan, Honda and Toyota are all working on reducing their dependence on US market, and are focusing more on promising markets like China, Russia and India to survive and grow in the coming months.
That would also mean reduced options for the US customers in the near future which looks inevitable.
