The Taleban took the risk of hitting at Pakistani army installations in the last few weeks, which killed over 50 army men. Now the Pakistani army sees enough reason to go behind these terrorist elements, and has started the offensive with backup support from air force also.
The Taleban town of Waziristan is now under three pronged attack and over 20000 Taleban militants holed up in the town are fighting it out with the army. The NATO forces are also pushing ahead from the Afghanistan border.
