UK economy down in Q3

Over 90% of the analysts predicted the UK economy to show marginally positive GDP growth in the third quarter of 2009, but the actual figure has turned out to be disastrous. The UK economy as a whole has shrunk by 0.4% in the September 2009 quarter due to failing local demand and high unemployment.
The UK economy is also hit due to crash in exports and also due to reduced tourist traffic.
