The best known general electric is said to have signed a wind turbine contract of $1.4 billion. The contract is from energy producer Caithness energy. The company has already completed all the government formalities and is ready to start.
Around 338 wind turbines are going to be installed and time of 2 years will be taken. These turbines will be installed in the Shepherds flat wind farm in Oregon.
General electric feels that this may be world’s largest wind farm. This wind turbines project is around $2 billion.
