On Tuesday the authorities of Philippines have announced the number of people who are buried due to the flash floods. The flash floods in Philippines have left more than 1000 dead or missing the authorities are not clear about the people. The detailed report of the dead and the missing people was stated by President Benigno Aquino who stated about the disaster. To inspect the ports of Cagayan DE Oro the President Aquino flew and witnessed the affected area where flood had taken place.
One could see the crumpled homes,the land choked with the drying mud and so many of the corpses which were half decayed. Some of the people were turned by the corpses when they were struck by the tropical storm Washi which affected during the weekend. At the public commentary two dump trucks came in Iligan during the dusk when the soldiers loaded the coffin. There were about 38 coffins which were filled with the death victims and were claimed by the respective relatives and friends.
There were many of the relatives and friends who cried and lit candles without being sure whether the victims were missing or dead. Many people witnessed the burial during Monday and the victims bodies mostly were half decomposed and rotten bodies. Due to the rotten bodies many of them were afraid of their health which may be affected while authorities announced mass graves. However the mass graves were canceled after there was criticism by some people so further individual tombs were arranged.
