Haiti was in the news only for sometime. But what happened to those little children who don’t even know what has happened ? . Haiti’s welfare system had already been grounded before the earthquake struck. Many people were not only on the streets but also their houses were in rubbles.

Many children are in need of help and the need to care for them has risen exponentially. Some of the scrupulous orphanages are taking advantage of this. The scrupulous orphanages round up the children in chaos and pretend to offer help. The children are taken to and offered to sale and are used as servants. The children when grown up into puberty are also used as sex slaves. 33 Haitian children were caught with 10 Americans trying to leave the country.

So it has been a rule to produce some proof documents to the safeguards. The intention of the 10 people is still under investigation. The regional coordinator for SOS children village said it has providing services too many abandoned children around the world. The journey will continue to Haiti’s child victims.

The Iranians are upset with the rise in the prosperity in their region expect their country. And the country does not want to change their adamant aversion to the western world and are in fact working on widening the gap further.
All these are only leading to further trouble for the country as a whole, for which there seems to be no real future.
And if you go by the history of Iran, you can expect it to use any small opportunity to bring down the Middle East region as a whole down to their level.
So expect Iran to trigger a war with Iraq or Israel or even Saudi Arabia in the near future.

India has been facing lot of Maoist attacks in the Eastern region of the country in the last few years. The attacks are only increasing in terms of damage in the recent past. Yesterday, the Maoists struck at a major town in West Bengal state, and killed over 24 military personnel. They also took away over 30 military personnel as hostages, apart from grabbing all the available arms and ammunition.
The authorities have swung into action, and have ring fenced the entire group of towns / villages, to hunt and kill all the Maoist militants. The region has been seeing unequal distribution of income and hence forced many families to seek help from Maoists who are helping them with money and food.

Around 120 tigers were lost last year being the highest in decade. In the next century, we may use lose our Arctic polar bear. The highest source of sushi, the Atlantic blue fin tuna is also becoming extinct. Loss of habitat is the main reason behind the endangered species monarch butterfly.

The habitat loss is also the main reason for the faltering pacific Wales. The populations of javan rhinoceros have reduced to two. 2300 adult females are just left in the leather back turtle of pacific. Only the world is left with 3200 tigers this century. The source of Bengal tigers are India and Nepal. WWF feels the reason behind the extinction is the stress in the environment.

One of the safety process that most of the homes across the US and North America are adopting is to have a home alarm system in place. This ensures peace of mind. But, there is one problem to be solved yet there. That is the chance of false alarm happening now and then.

The false alarm, whenever it happens, can be pretty bad for the home as well as the security provider. It can end up in lots of steps being taken which come to nothing. If this happens off and on, it would also mean that if and when an actual problem does happen, it might not be taken seriously.

So, how do you tackle such a problem? To start with, you should have a security alarm system of somebody who is really reliable. Somebody like ADT. And, your security alarm system should be preferably a wireless security home system , which would minimize the chances of human error. The choice of the right security alarm provider would also minimize the chances of faulty equipment design.

You should also ensure that you check the system every month or on a particular regular frequency and keep it tuned and properly. You should also keep your password safe and secure and not share with anyone outside the home.

The US government wants to first know who is going to be the new Afghan President, since the election results are yet to be confirmed. The independent UN backed election committee is likely to advise re-election in the country, which is likely to be opposed by the Karzai government.
The US has little time to send more troops to Afghanistan, where the US and NATO Troops are facing major resistance from the terrorist groups.

Now the Pakistani army sees enough reason to go behind these terrorist elements, and has started the offensive with backup support from air force also.
The Taleban town of Waziristan is now under three pronged attack and over 20000 Taleban militants holed up in the town are fighting it out with the army. The NATO forces are also pushing ahead from the Afghanistan border.

The Islands of Indonesia were struck again by a massive 7.6 magnitude earthquake, that instantly killed over 150 people and injured over 200 people. Unconfirmed reports say that the earthquake was good enough to bring down over five buildings across Sumatra Islands which was close to the epicenter 30 miles that was identified to be 50 kilometers away from the Southern Sumatra islands.
The real death toll and loss to property could be far higher and clear picture will emerge only after few days. Ever since the beginning of 2008, Indonesia has been disturbed on a frequent basis by earthquakes. And as per one study, part of Indonesian islands are expected to go under seawater due to future earthquakes.

The Nuclear weapons reduction is a really serious issue that is haunting the entire world. Just think about this. Only 10% of the Nuclear weapons with US is enough to destroy the world. 15% of the nuclear missiles with Russia or 40% of the nuclear missiles with UK is enough to destroy the world.
And there are small quantities of nuclear warheads with other countries like China, India , France, Germany, Italy etc., which can destroy few continents. Every country is taking a small but decisive step towards nuclear arms reduction. UK is now said to be offering to the UN , a reduction in the nuclear submarines from four to three. This move can be a eye opener for other major nuclear countries , only if they decide to understand the real danger behind the massive nuclear weapons pileup.
