Suu Kyi gets first passport

The opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi received her first passport in the 24 years during Tuesday after she had planned for a trip. Suu Kyi has planned for her first foreign trip to Norway and Britain and has applied for her passport and has received the passport. The pass port was received from the home ministry says an aide Htin Kyaw and after the recent reforms Suu Kyi applied for the passport. The recent political reforms which had culminated Suu Kyi to the election into the parliament during the last month and has planned to visit different countries.

The long ruling military junta which was ruling Myanmar just handed over the power to nominally elected civilian government which is ruling at present. By elections in the month of April Suu Kyi National League for democracy for Democracy won about 43 seats and will be ruling the opposition block. The passport of Suu Kyi is valid for a period of three years and since Suu Kyi has returned to Myanmar in the year 1988 she has not taken a passport. After the pro-democracy movement Suu Kyi became a leader and was under house arrest for about 15 of the rules under the rule of military.

The confinement of Suu Kyi had prevented her from attending many of the ceremony which was in Norway after which she had won the Nobel peace prize. Though during the intermittent period Suu Kyi was offered opportunities to visit abroad which was rejected by her because she could-not enter Myanmar again. So inspite of Suu Kyi husband was in Bristish Oxford Don Micheal Aris who died due to cancer in the year 1999 and had seen each other in 1995.

51 people killed in Pakistan gun fights

There was about 51 militants who were being killed which included four soldiers during the air strikes. The air strikes in Pakistan along with the clashes which happened between the Pakistani security forces. The clashes happened in the northwest area of Pakistan during the past week says reports on Sunday. The tribal belt which is along the border of Afghanistan was being bombed by Pakistan which lead to the strikes.

The clashes along the tribal belt has left about 26 militants dead reported a senior Paramilitary official. The jet strikes of Pakistan during Sunday has killed about 26 militants and wounded about 15 others. The jet strikes has even destroyed some of the hideouts in some of the areas of upper Orakzai and Kurram. The Orakzai and Kurram are the tribal districts which are in the border side of Afghanistan along pakistan.

Some of the Orakzai are in the hands of Taliban and there has been frequent clashes between the militants and the security forces. In Bara ,Khyber tribal district there was separately the death of 25 militants and about four soldiers. There has been gunfights which has been going on from March 12 during Sunday in the Khyber tribal district. The martyrdom was being embraced by about four security forces while about 12 were injured.
